Throughout it’s programs, Tenebo Enable Africa aims to contribute to the achievement of the sustainable development goals. TENEBO means “Together” in Maasai language, It’s “ Tenebo Enable Africa” as we believe that Together we can make a huge difference and create a sustainable future for everyone. Together, we have the power to transform the lives of disadvantaged women, youth and children who have faced challenges in their lives and empower them toward self-fulfillment and sustainable livelihoods. Through collaborative efforts, we strive to build a community where everyone can thrive, flourish and reach their full potential.
Tenebo Enable Africa is an organization of integrity that is fully committed to promote sustainable development, advancing gender equality and professional development to enhance the well-being of women, youth and children. We are passionate about making a positive impact in our communities and we strongly believe that every individual has the potential to create real change in the society and of course together we can achieve great things. We are fully registered NGO with permission and corporation countrywide. We are registered under the Non Governmental Organizations Act, 2002 with registration No. 00NGO/R/6538.

Our Mission
To create improved standards of living among the community through social support and income generating projects for sustainable socio-economic development, to empower, protect, engage and educate disadvantaged women, youth and children from lower class of the society, so that they are able to stand up for themselves and find their voice in a society that needs to be built on respect, dignity and equality for every individual, regardless of their gender.
Objectives
- To promote gender equality and advance the rights of women, youth and children.
- To empower and promote sustainable economic independence for women and youth
- To promote access to Health education, Sexual and Reproductive Health
- To promote sustainable livelihoods through the enhancement of modern social, cultural and agricultural practices
- To inspire women, youth and children to be the best they can be and aim for excellence through empowerment, entrepreneurship, capacity building and mentoring.
- To enable women to have the opportunity to build their own livelihood in a sustainable economy by adding value to their daily lives through empowerment and self-dicovery.
