Youth Empowerment Program
Invest in youth.
The goal of this program is to increase job opportunities for youth, knowledge and skills to start their own business in order to create pathways for youth to become responsible adults with dignity, self-sufficiency and the ability to be productive citizens.
This is done by giving them marketable and practical knowledge and life skills on how to provide for themselves and their families. Our intensive training provides them with valuable life skills and knowledge to enhance their employability and even to start their own businesses. Our passion lies in ensuring that both girls and boys from disadvantaged families have a chance to have fun together, while learning the skills necessary to reach their full potential and positively contribute to their communities.
Our program include education, socio-economic empowerment, life skills, guiding and mentoring, while disseminate information on stages of growth, puberty emotional changes, STIs and HIV/AIDS, early pregnancies, alcohol abuse, crime and other life issues that may affect the youth. When youth gain access to skills training, resources and opportunities to learn and grow rural enterprises, farming and help their parents to gain economic independence, so that they can support themselves, their families and communities to thrive. This is a holistic development program that focuses on empowering and enabling young people to positively contribute to the upliftment of their community and society at large.
By providing a platform to engage these valuable and precious members of our communities, we seek to challenge conventional approaches to problem solving in our communities and practically enable them to constructively invest in their communities.
